Real estate in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo

Santa Barbara is a large inland municipality — about 13,200 hectares, 29th in size among Iloilo's 42 towns — with an economy still primarily agricultural, mainly rice and fish. It is also home to the Iloilo Golf and Country Club, established in 1907 by Scottish engineers who were building the Panay railway line, and recognised as the oldest golf course in the Philippines and the oldest still in use in Southeast Asia. Iloilo's airport is in neighbouring Cabatuan, which puts Santa Barbara within easy reach of it.
